Doug Mientkwicz scored one of Kansas City's two runs against the Tigers today in a 14-2 loss. Bravo Doug, Bravo.
We're playing St Louis today. Hopefully I can make an appearance, I'd like to get the season underway.

I'm back motha fuckas.
Holy shit, I wish that I was back in New York Opening Day didn't go that way. My old friend John Lieber got his ass kicked today. Things coulda been worse though. J-Roll extended that hit streak of his. I caught the Yankee game later on in the night but went to sleep after Hideki hit that 3-Run homer. I figured it was done after that, but apparently my old team tacked on 4 more runs. Good job guys.
Philly aint that bad of a town. The one thing that is gettin' on my nerves is this fuckin Philly Phanatic guy. He WILL NOT leave me the fuck alone. Just go away goddamnit, I want to chill and not have your weird ass nose in my grill 24/7!

This is bitter sweet for me man. I have some great friends in NY, but I am sure I will make some good ones in Philly too. I just had to do what was right for Flash Gordon, you know what I'm sayin'? The Yanks didn't wanna give me 3, Philly did, so I went the route of getting outta the AL I won't have to face my real old team. It aint like I'm light years away, Philly aint far from the Bronx.

Things are awfully quiet for me. I am pissed that they signed The Farns. This son of a bitch is stealing my job! And everyone is cool with it! What the fuck?!

i figured that if we make the world series, the scenario of flash comin' to bat is a very likely one. so, i am bringin' in the secret weapon. no, not don mattingly. today i ordered a ticket to California for everyones favorite Oriole, MIGUEL TEJADA. He can party with me and Tanyon help me swing the bat better. Donny is workin' on my contact swing, but I will leave the home run swing to Miguel.

i would usually be getting shitfaced, but the last time I got shitfaced was when we won the AL East. that is why i have been absent. i just started coming out of my alcohol haze during the top of the 9th of that Boston game we lost 10-1. crazy shit. anyway, i came back and held that shit down tonight. Sheff helped me out bigtime though. hopefully we can smack around lackey tomorrow and i wont have to kick anymore ass.

i am convinced that Aaron Small is the voice of reason around here.
me and tanyon were going to break some guys neck today because he was talkin' shit out in front of Camden Yards, and Aaron Small calmly told us to chill out, and proceeded to make the guys head explode without moving a finger. maybe i was just drunk and i saw that head explodin' shit for some reason, but i definetly know that guy got the fuck outta dodge after the Small Stare.

damn.......all i really remember about last night goes like this:
bubba hit the home run, and i knew i was gettin fuckkkkeddd uppp when the ball landed. so sure enough, i was fucked up. i remember walking back from the club....and thinking we were in kansas city again. i convinced tanyon to break into the sports authority with me and we stole a kayack and paddled around in circles like druken ass fools for a period of time that i dont even know. luckily, jorge slipped the cops a hundred bucks or so to let us go and to keep it to themselves or some shit. but man, i am recovering mickey mantle style right now.
